HDMI LA announces HDMI® Authenticate, its new counterfeit reporting tool

HDMI LA is pleased to announce the release of its new online reporting tool, HDMI® Authenticate. This tool allows one to anonymously report suspected counterfeiters on our website.

HDMI LA works vigorously to protect its brand and our Adopters’ efforts to ensure only Licensed Products are within the ecosystem. Reports of the unauthorized use of HDMI Intellectual Property (IP) come from many sources, including our adopters, resellers, brands, and consumers. Each report is taken seriously, thoroughly investigated, and once identified, all necessary actions are taken against the unauthorized use of HDMI LA IP.
